How do you change your name on Facebook

It’s very easy, you have to follow few steps to change your name on Facebook.

1) Login to your Facebook account

Firstly, you have to login to your Facebook account, and after that you have to proceed to next step.

2) Click in the top right of Facebook

In the top right of Facebook you will find this blue triangle button, next to notifications.

3) Select Settings and Privacy and then click on settings

You have to click on settings and privacy and after than you have to click on Settings. In settings, you have to select general and you will see your basic details like name, email, username, contact etc.

4) Click on Name or Edit button next to name

You have to go to general settings and click on name or the edit button next to name. After clicking on it, you will see the name editing option.

Enter your first name
Your middle name
Enter your last name

Please note: If you change your name on Facebook, you can’t change it again for 60 days. Don’t add any unusual capitalization, punctuation, characters or random words. Learn more.

Change your name on Facebook App

1. Open Facebook app
2. Click on three horizontal lines (next to notifications button)
3. In Menu, after you scroll down, you will find settings and privacy.
4. Click on Settings
5. Go to Settings >> Account Settings>> Personal Information
6. In Personal Information, Click on Name
7. Enter your new name
8. Submit for review changes

Name will be changed after done successfully.
