Hello. This is Aakash Singh from Delhi, India. A marketing professional with an eye for business excellence. I love Football with Manchester United Football Club being at the top for me. Combining technology with ambitions/dreams, I work day in and day out to help people conquer their dreams in the world of Digital Marketing.

How you became an entrepreneur

Same as so many else I guess, the need to escape the 9-5 grind. Being your own boss is an idea that resonates closely with me. So while working, I started this venture all by myself putting in extra hours after work initially to get myself a name on the map of Digital Marketing.

How did the idea for Cup Of Glory come about?

Well, the idea was simple. How to myself and help others along me, get out of the 9-5 rat race. You see, there are so many creative people out there with so much to offer to the world but their dreams, ideas and ambitions never see the light of the day because they are too busy working for someone else’s dreams. To change that, I started Cup Of Glory. To achieve financial independence in whatever you do is my ultimate idea of Glory.

What were your initial challenges? How were they solved?

Biggest challenge for any start up is – Where & How to start? That first step forward is by far the most difficult one. My biggest challenge was definitely how to manage my ongoing Job with my own startup. To run away was not an option at the time, so I just got on with it and sacrificed my sleep, health too a bit to be honest and started putting in the extra hours after work daily.

What is Cup Of Glory business model?

Business Model is straight forward – learn about Digital Marketing, Blogging, SEO and imply them in whatever field you are in to maximize revenue streams. Be it a new start up or an upcoming Brand, I help them to be on the Digital Marketing map.

Who is your target audience and what is the strategy to reach them?

Target Audience is anyone who is aspiring to be an entrepreneur in any field. I love working with people fuelled by their passion. Strategy differs for different client groups of course but the basic common strategy is to over deliver. Then and only then you can sit back and hope your work is being referred to ahead to the world. Every project/dream should be like my own to achieve this.

How did COVID-19 impact your business and what are your future plans?

Contrary to the general world, COVID-19 impacted positively. As the world entered into lockdown and people had time on their hands, they started working for their dreams and passions. People who unfortunately were laid off were more than willing to start their own ventures in these testing times. So the world of Digital Marketing was on the rise definitely.

How do you define success?

Success for me is to be able to do what I want when I want how I want. It is really that simple. To be truly free in all manner is really what success feels like.

Who has been your greatest inspiration?

Cristiano Ronaldo – current Juventus midfielder and former Manchester United & Real Madrid midfielder.

His early life struggles to where he is now, an inspiring journey. It is from him I truly hooked on to the concept of consistency in life.

What piece of advice would you give to college graduates who want to become entrepreneurs?

Don’t be afraid to fail, afraid to never give yourself a chance

Age is on your side, go out and do whatever the hell you want to without worrying too much about the results.

Success sometimes is a huge twisted staircase of many small failures.
